Confidence and Traceability for Infrared |
 |

You know what’s at stake. It costs thousands to shut down a production line for maintenance and more if the shutdown is unplanned. The credibility of a technician’s recommendation to shut down is only as good as his infrared thermometer and its calibration. Two major requirements are accuracy and consistency.
How to get accurate and consistent results: Even those infrared thermometers that cannot be adjusted can benefit from a calibration that demonstrates the consistency and validity of your results. A trusted calibration means less worry, fewer questions and more time being productive. To get more reliable, traceable, and consistent results, buy a 4180 or 4181 Precision Infrared Calibrator. Consistent and accurate calibrations require large targets because of scatter in infrared thermometer lenses. Reliable calibration of the measurement surface measures the energy radiated by the surface and not just its internal temperature. Called “radiometric calibration,” it calibrates the infrared temperature of the target which depends on emissivity (the largest and most neglected source of error in infrared temperature calibrations). Click here for an informative application note. These easy-to-use infrared calibrators are high-accuracy, portable and compensate for the emissivity of infrared thermometers in a simple way with unique technology. Model 4180 has a temperature range of –15 °C to 120 °C, with radiometric display accuracy as good as ± 0.40 °C, and Model 4181 measures from 35 °C to 500 °C, with radiometric display accuracy as good as ±0.35 °C. The New Dimension in Data Acquisition and Analysis |
 |

Dimension 4i is truly a next generation Data Acquisition System combining high speed, gap free data recording with Real Time FFT Analysis. Dimension 4i brings together the industry leading technologies of Nicolet, Gould, and Dactron. The result is a time and frequency domain system without compromise.
Versatility Without Compromise
Dimension 4i was developed with the understanding that today’s users need instrumentation that is as flexible as their own responsibilities are varied. Dimension 4i can be configured as a fully functioning data recorder, providing signal conditioning for a variety of transducer types and logging signals to the removable data drive at rates up to 200 kS/s on all channels. It can also be configured as a high speed transient recorder, capturing a critical event. If one then needs to perform frequency domain measurements, Dimension 4i becomes a potent FFT analyzer, processing single or cross channel analysis at 84 kHz real-time bandwidth and supporting ICP® and TEDS transducer standards. Call it a hybrid if you like. Dimension 4i is the first legitimate cross-over product, developed by a team of design and application engineers who have been there, done that.
Intuiitive Software with Easy Transfer to Perception for Detailed Analysis
Using a 15 inch high resolution touch screen display, Dimension 4i’s user interface is simple to operate as the user navigates through test setup, display customization, measurement, analysis, data export, and on-board report generation in a logical, yet non-tedious sequence. Post analysis and advanced reporting are managed using the powerful Perception software package. If Perception is loaded onto Dimension's integrated PC, data can be instantly transferred for immediate analysis. A System that Expands with Your Requirements Dimension 4i is an extremely modular system that allows the user to choose a configuration that best suits their measurement requirement. Start with 4 channels now and expand to 16 channels by simply adding more modules in the field. Or mix and match signal conditioners to match the needs of your test. 24-bit analog digital converters, voltage isolation, anti-aliasing filters and more ensure unparalleled data accuracy. Dimension 4i includes the following standard features: removable hard drive, DVD RW drive, PCI expansion slot, dual waveform generators, real-time digital filtering (including the patent pending Ripple Elimination Filter), on-board report generation and data export
The Legacy Continues
Dimension 4i continues the high standard set by the extremely successful Nicolet Vision product, the industry leader in data recorders for the past 8 years. Dimension 4i contains all of the powerful features of Vision, plus a whole new array of additional innovations

MU909020A Optical Channel Analyzer Module
Model Number: MT9090A Network Master Series |
 |
Description
Cost-effective, small, rugged and easy-to-use test equipment for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of CWDM access networks.
The new MU909020A/Optical channel Analyzer module is a field modular device designed to measure and monitor power and wavelength over the 18 CWDM channels. It is a cost-effective alternative to more complex OSA for the emerging CWDM market, providing fast and reliable measurements in every environment. Coming in a small, light and rugged handheld format, this easy to use instrument is the ideal and essential mate of each field technician for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of CWDM access networks.
Dedicated tool for CWDM applications
The MU909020A Optical Channel Analyzer is purpose built for testing CWDM channels in the field. It provides an overview of the power levels and wavelengths of all 18 CWDM channels at a glance. In addition, PASS/FAIL thresholds are stored for all parameters and configurations defined in ITU-T G.695 recommendation, allowing technicians to easily assess the network condition. It also enables long-term characterizations with several drift functions. With its software interface focused exclusively on the features needed, it is easy to use for any skill level, significantly decreasing training expenses.
